Heat Pumps
GROUNDsource Heat Pumps In the UK the earth, a few meters below our feet, keeps a constant temperature of about 9 - 12 degrees centigrade throughout the year. Because of the ground's high thermal mass, is stores heat from the sun during the summer. Ground source heat pumps (GSHP) can transfer this heat from the ground into a building to provide SPACE HEATING and, in some cases, pre-heat domestic hot water. For every unit of electricity used to pump the heat, 3-4 units of heat are produced. As well as ground source heat pumps, AIRsource heat pumps are also possible.

Energy is absorbed from the ground at low temperature into the building using highly efficient closed loop Ground Source Heat Pumps. This technology was first demonstrated in the UK over fifty years age and now proven worldwide with over a million installations. EarthEnergy systems tap into the ground's renewable geothermal energy to provide buildings heating aun/or cooling 24 hours 365 days of the year. Alan Leighton Hull Ltd is an approved installer for EarthEnergy systems.
