The company is a family-run business that is committed to providing high-quality plumbing services to our customers. We are proud to be a member of the National Association of Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors (NAPHCC).
Everyone here at Alan Leighton Ltd is provided with continual individual training and certification, which ensures that they have the knowledge and expertise to provide outstanding services to our customers. All of our engineers have completed an apprenticeship to City & Guilds level and are fully experienced in all aspects of both domestic and commercial plumbing. This means that when you hire us for plumbing, heating, gas, bathrooms or renewables, you receive a professional, friendly and dedicated service from start to finish.

We rapidly build up a strong customer base made up of private clients and a local housing authority.
Alan Leighton completes his apprenticeship at the age of 21, becomes a member of the Institute of Plumbing, and sets up Alan Leighton Plumbing as a sole trader.
The business is incorporated as a limited company and renamed Alan Leighton (Hull) Ltd.
Mike Leighton, Alan’s son, joins the company as an apprentice, carrying on the family tradition.
We become a proud member of The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors.
The business is accredited and registered through Gas Safe.
Mike Leighton takes on the role of Director.
In 2010, our journey began with a vision to provide exceptional plumbing services. We started with a small team and a commitment to quality.
By 2015, we expanded our services to include heating and renewable solutions. This allowed us to meet the growing needs of our customers.
In 2020, we launched our sustainability initiatives, focusing on eco-friendly plumbing solutions. Our commitment to the environment has strengthened our brand.
