Market Cross – Beverley
Installed back in 1991 Leighton’s completed the lead works for the 18th century Market Cross at Beverley, for back then Beverly Borough Council. The old existing lead over 300 Years old was removed and melted down by a specialist lead sheet manufacture and re-cast with a mixture of new lead and re-applied by Leighton’s on the Market Cross.
